Just received my 1863 Shooting Taler (Neucthatel) from the Bowers/Ponterio Auction. I generally like the look of it. One dark spot on the obverse. Harder to find given the low mintage. Specifics: Canton: Neuchatel Design: Bovy/Siber Denomination: 5 Francs Schützenfest in Chaux De Fonds Mintage: 6,000 NGC MS-61 A shooting medal was issued for this event (52mm), mintage unknown.
