I belong to several collectors groups on social media and I recently saw a shrink wrapped brick of series 2009 $1 FRNs starting with serial number L00000001D. I knew the owner and requested serial number 12 if and when the brick was parted out. It recently arrived. I'm thrilled to have both a 2009 and 2013 $1 FRN with identical serial numbers, L00000012D. Serial number 12 on the 12th district. I've had the 2013 note for some time and it appears to be a slightly different hue or shade because it's in an older, tinted PMG holder.
A new pickup: $20 National Currency 3rd Charter The First National Bank of Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania Series 1902 Fr.650
Stumbled across this one recently and had never seen one before and thought it was pretty cool looking and different from anything I have and decided it would make a nice addition to the collection. It's larger than a Fractional, about the same height of a modern note but not as wide.. and the I guess it being a Radar note is a little added bonus
