    Hello everyone,

Going through my father in law's Canadian coin's and trying to figure out what they are. I was able to get through some of his pennies, quarters, nickels, dollars, and dimes but there are a few that are in bad shape.

So I'm wondering if someone could possibly tell me what this coin is, I can read the word six pence on the back of this coin and on the front I see the letter O. Can someone identify this coin and maybe get a close date?

    Thank you

Looks like a Victoria UK 6 pence to me as well.
Here's one of mine with some others for size and design comparison.

@Murillo That's a very worn "D", not an "O". The inscription reads, "Victoria D(ei) G(ratia) Brittaniar(um) Regina F(idei): D(efensor):. Translated from Latin, it means "Victoria, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith".
