    Always nice to find a wheatie in circulation though :cool:

    Thanks for the replies, I know it’s damage ( unlike previous threads I’ve created ) starting to finally see damage now I’m brushing up on how the coins are made, this one was just a fun find so thought I would share :)

    That was used to correct the gunsight on a battleship near the end of WW2.

    (Just kidding. No one knows how that got damaged. Probably a hammer blow in HS Auto Shop in the 50s…Spark)

    I thought it might of been done in one of those machines used at the carnivals to damage coins.
