This,my uncle as a boy in the 60's did what any thirsty kid would do.Go to the coke machine and get something to drink.Back then it only cost a dime and that's what he put in.What he got back as change was this decent 1915 buffalo nickel.It got him hooked the rest is history.It was one of the coins as my birthday gift a few years ago.I can imagine myself in the same situation in my own way every time I look at it.
I have many, many coins that make me happy. I have coins that are incredibly rare, incredibly beautiful, incredibly expensive, or have a great story that goes with them. This coin got me into the hobby! The 1943 Coin was one of the reprocessed crap, I thought that coin was gonna be sold for at least $30.000. I remember watching a YouTube video that said if your 1943 looks bluish, it is worthless. Oh, it was supposed to be a happy story! Next time
