I am going with MS 64 FSB. Too much chatter on the neck (Liberty was a floozy) and not as booming as I would expect for much higher.
When cplradar says we are going to LOVE the grade, it is likely that he is being sarcastic and thinks the grade is very low, eg, MS62 FB. My first impression was that the luster was subdued as well, it just doesn't have the look of a gem grade coin. If the coin graded MS62 FB, we both know why. The luster could be dull because the coin has been dipped. An over-dipped coin will have a washed out appearance rather than full cartwheel luster. All of the TPGs, including ANACS love to net grade over-dipped coins with an MS62 grade regardless of the other attributes of the coin. Personally, I am not convinced from those photos that the coin is over-dipped, which is why I chose a higher grade of MS64 FB.
Barely noticeable are slight striation tone lines from the neck through the hair, rim spots obverse and reverse, might have started after being slabbed, in my opinion. Grade MS-64
Based upon your comments, I would venture to guess that it came back something like AU58 - details, cleaned. I personally gave it MS66 FB.
MS64 FSB…light scuff on neck and above designers initials, but clean enough and strong to hold that grade…and all three bands are unobstructed…very nice merc… imo…Spark
That's why I guessed AU58 FSB. The neck and the field to the right, as well as the right fields on the reverse, have that circulated look. Yet it's clearly FSB. So why not? Guesses are free.
You should give the result now. The odds are that those who are going to respond already have. Those that already have are anxious to see the TPGS grade. I think that in general 24 hours is enough time. I'm sure that like many on CT, I look at the new posts and respond to those that catch my eye. I normally don't scroll through several pages of posts.
