This was our oldest Granddaughter at a much younger age (she is now a Senior in High School) when she was helping us with the Fall leaf gathering.

My Japanese Maple, with fall colors.
The leaves are different, they are usually green, and turn red.

    Thanks for the chance.

    :)

Unfortunately, the rabbits have been a constant battle, so this is my largest harvest to date. A friend has an acre of bushes and makes jelly, syrup and wine. I’m eating my meager harvest on cereal

Thanks for yet another great give-away Rob.
I don't get a whole lot of fall colors, living in an evergreen forest, but have a little.

October 2013, when I was still photographing gravestones to hopefully have record of them as the cemetery near my home deteriorates. Especially the area where the Greek people were buried. Since then, I've uploaded a number of photos to findagrave.com with the hopes that any damage to the stones will be less of a loss, when there are images of the stone still standing.

Last photo is a Saltis. The first in the states, and the only one who still has male descendants to carry the name forward.

Entry post. I now live in St. George, Utah, but I miss the fall in Pittsford New York where the trees would literally look like they were on fire from changing colors from yellow-orange-red-then brown. A beautiful sight too.

This is a random picture, but it looked like this.

I am sure enjoying the cooler weather we are having now.

Now that Fall comes tomorrow, I'm looking forward to daily high temps "falling" below 100F (in the Phoenix area)!

Not our specific tree, but a Fuyu Persimmon. In SE KY, one of the strongest memories of Fall was when a persimmon tree on the way to school would start to drop its fruit (after the first frost). Still one of my favorite fruits.

I thought this nice Canadian coin would serve well with the nice colored leaves.

Wattles are a type of acacia, in fact the bottom image called the Golden Wattle is our national flower! although the smell is really mild generic floral/honey smelling, the pollen are really loose on these so I don't recommend giving a good sniff!

Out of the four seasons I like Fall and Spring about equally well and dislike Winter and Summer the same.
Winter is too cold, Summer is too hot, but Fall and Spring are just right !!

    Thanx4 the contest LM !!!

That’s the perfect coin for this theme. If there was an owl in the leaves instead of a wolf, I’d have to have it.
