I found this bicentennial quarter in my moms change jar today and to me looks like liberty is dd and the in god we trust do you guys see anything i see or anything i dont the reverse may have dd on states and america? Or no?
What you are seeing I believe is the reflection the coin presenting a shadow or false doubling. Some refer to this as Reflective doubling.
Keep the light the same and reposition the coin at different angle to see if the doubling goes away. It should if it is caused by refection.
I still see some doubling but maybe im seeing things it looked like the one that i compared it to online so idk
