Yes, yours is somewhat heavy Save it and enjoy it Reprocessed 1943 cents are replated sometime after they leave the mint. Makes them shiny for collector presentation but they are technically damaged My Lincoln set looks better with the shiny ones but real collectors know right away
The edge of there were not plated with zinc. Only the obverse and reverse surfaces are plated. The surface of the edge is steel and should be much darker than the image shows it to be. Why does the edge look so shiny?

The coins above were processed. Over time the rust on the steel starts to come back thru the new plating/processing. Better images would be really cool.
