I have nothing more to write at this time about Morgan dollars, but would somebody advise me about silver 25 peso coins from the Mexico Olympics. The coins are uncirculated, but not necessarily brilliant. Thanks.

Thanks. I have to figure out how to take a picture of the coins then how to add them to this message. I'm just barely computer literate.

It looks to me that it was 'sandwiched' between 2 other quarters in a vice

    Here's some info.

Watch for the alignment of the Olympic rings and also the shape and length of the snake's tongue in the Eagle's mouth.

I have two coins, the first I looked at closely has the rings perfectly aligned and the snake's tongue is about as long as the mouth opening of the snake. I don't know what the other numbers represent )479.1, 2, & 3 1968.

I’ve found maybe 5 1950 D’s. 4 1939d’s. 2 1939 Monticello dd. And 3 1942/43 silvers. Along with a bunch of others. Their sure out there. Just a month or so ago. I found 5 full rolls of buffalo nickels

Did this thread get hi-jacked? I no longer see any comments about the original post.
Now it seems to be a free-for-all thread..
