This afternoon I walked by a vending machine and stuck my hand in the return coin slot and found this, along with a 1930 & 1937 wheat cents. I usually don't take the time to do this. 1854 Napoleon III 10 Centimes. I can't imagine what the owner thought he was doing or what type of coins he thought he had. What were the chances?
I bet you’ll be checking more vending machines from now on. Just hit the coin return level first. That’s a great find.
I've been trying to keep track of this. My stapler is getting tired. It knows I'm retired and want to join the party.
You can buy "flat staplers" at Wal-Mart and most office supply stores. I recommend this from personal experience.
Back in 1983 I bought a nice unc. '57 Wash. quarter. Wasn't paying attention, when I put it into the quarter 2x2 box, I scratched a real nice '56-D piece. That went from a $25 coin to melt.
