Just added the half. Three down, two to go. Need the dime and quarter now.

It was that "Watermelon Inversion" cent that started the whole thing. The others aren't monsters like that, but they were pretty inexpensive.

That Penny is UBER COOL! I love the way Pennies tone. I have a couple rolls of nicely toned pennies, but your's is off the charts!

    Costs, to date:

$75.00 for the cent (I had to check my sanity when I realized I was paying that much for a Memorial cent! In retrospect, no regrets now.)

    $15.00 for the nickel.

    $33.49 for the half.

Nice start! The cent was well worth the cost!

Nice set/project in progress. Too bad PCGS doesn't have the multi-coin holders like NGC (or if they do, I haven't seen them). Saw an NGC 4-coin the other day...might have a five-coin for a set. I have some flat-pak proof sets from the 50s that are hardly different than when new...would love to have graded and in the same holder. Also have some OGP '65 flat-pak SMS sets in pristine shape...no toning other than a slightly deeper-red cent.

Toned SMS coins are not common.

You may be looking for a while for the dime and qtr

So I have discovered. I’ll settle for subtle toning like on the nickel and half. Certainly wouldn’t expect to find monsters like the cent (and wouldn’t be prepared to cough up the premiums for ‘em if I did.)
