Sorry, but not here. I started about the time you finished, 12:38pm. i was in and done in 3 minutes. With zero bobbles.
Apparently... I've blown a month's worth of luck on one stupid coin set. My quick pick is 1, 13, 22 oh hell no. Tomorrow it will rain only on my head.
I had same experience as others. Only I had mine in the cart at noon on the dot. I took pictures of the various error messages after that, trying to check out, of which there were many. SSL handshake failed, just a random script page with "request couldn't be processed." That one was the majority of the time. Then "Bad gateway" would appear. "Web server is returning an unknown error." The first time I got to the place order button it then thought I was a bot! Says "Please verify you are human," with no option to verify on the page. So close it out and sign back in. A lot of people wanted to make sure they got theirs. As someone else said it's almost like they put a limit on how much could sell and created a bottle neck initially and then they slowly sold out for an hour at the end. I wish I could've known there'd be ample chance to get this one and I would've waited an hour. But based on previous offerings, I figured I had 20 minutes or so. For most of it I couldn't even get the homepage back up.
Something was going on that first hour as the site didnt really work for anyone in anyway. The sales were slow too showing that. I dunno if the system was being attacked or what though thats probably likely but it significantly improved for pretty much everyone that second hour and sold out pretty quick after that.
Haha, Dearborn. Every time I see your signature I keep wondering why a moderator edited it and what they removed. I then think: must have been pretty bad if they're giving ultimatums like 'This is it!'. Then I realize it's just your signature. lol
Yeah well, I think it is my silly side leaking out. (I can't seem to help it). I am surprised that I had it for so long before somebody mentioned it..
This might seem like a stupid question but how can you tell how many coins are left unsold. I have never seen this but I have also never been able to purchase any of these special coins. I am 0 for 7 with my new computer yet my daughter always gets hers using her smart phone. Yesterday I clicked "add to cart" and nothing happened. I tried again and it crashed or I kept getting error pages. Someone told me when this happens do not click again or start over, just wait to be pushed through. He said when I make numerous attempts the Mints computer sees me as a robot and won't let me through. Could this be whats happening. No Morgans, no Peace Dollar, and no special edition ASE's for me. Thankfully I had enrollments on everything else.
Somebody posted up stream. When you retrive the catalog page for the specific coin: Right-click and select show source In that page of text, search for data-available The # following that... For example, just checked the palladium 'dime', says 7926.0
I had one in the cart at noon plus a few seconds, fooled around for 30-35 minutes and gave up. Just before I was going to do some errands around 1:55 PM EDT I tried on my phone got in no problem and was able to order a set. Later that night around 10:30 PM I received the confirmation from the mint.
