Today I was given a box containing 150 LMC spanning 1959-1979. It is great for someone who lives in Spain and only occasionally comes across US coinage other than in coin stores etc. I am going to start sorting the dates but it is getting late here so thought I would share with you before I go any further

Very cool for you~~ Sounds like fun! From what I see they appear to be in pretty good shape! All copper cents too if before 1982.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Are you looking to fill a folder? Searching for varieties? Just like looking at coins you don't see often?

I'm curious what your "exciting prospect" is, since you don't elaborate.

The chance to look through something different. When we order coins for our shop register the only things you get in the Euro zone are all from 1999 onwards and with modern production techniques the chance of finding a variety is small and a major error almost non existent. I have only a small collection of US coins, mainly Morgan and Peace dollars, Unc and proof mint sets, with the bulk of my coinage being world coins, so for me it is different and, yes, exciting as I love coins, their character and history, even though these ones are relatively modern.
