1884-O Morgan Dollar contest

    flyers10 Collector of US Coinage

    This will be a quick contest for the attached 1884-O Morgan dollar. Contest ends tomorrow morning (Saturday) at 10:00 Central Time. All answers must be sent by private message to me and be in by Saturday 10:00 am Central time. You will need to answer the 3 attached WW2 questions. In case more than one person gets all three correct my 4 year old daughter will pick the winner by drawing the name out of a hat. I will ship the coin out on Saturday. Now here we go and good luck.

    1. General’s name who response to a German surrendar demand at Bastogne was “Nuts”?

    2. After the allied landings on Normandy besides the Germans what natural obstacle in the Normandy countryside held up the allied advance?

    3. What numbered army did General Patton command in France?

    Got the messages. Thanks for playing. Contest ends in about 1 hr 40 mins so get your answer in. I have added a runner up prize. Someone suggested having a WW2 era coin for the prize since the questions are about WW2. I am adding a very nice 1941 Walking liberty half dollar as a runner up prize. So now 2 winners.
