It boggles my mind how ridiculously stupid some of these CL sellers are!! Must be a joke, idk! https://sacramento.craigslist.org/clt/d/carmichael-have-sacagawea-2000-gold/7376622139.html
Ha ha, sounds like an Etsy listing. I'm tempted to ask where he sees them going for "$10,000 each". But as usual, better not to engage. Similar to this joker: https://www.etsy.com/listing/103861...dollars-ag?ref=shop_home_active_2&pro=1&frs=1
Here's what the Etsy guy is supposedly selling: "Copper 1943 Wheat Penny~ One Of The Rarest US Coins Ever Minted~ Only 15 Known To Exist!"
I enjoy the Condition: Excellent rating he gave these, as that is even wrong haha. He probably thinks these are real gold.. and even then, $10,000 is way to high of a price lol. Gold spot price per gram right now is $57.77, and I happen to have a Sacagawea gold dollar with me, which weighs 8.0g according to my scale. The one I have is from 2011, so it isn't a 2000 P, but it doesn't matter. This would mean if these were 100% gold, they'd be worth $462.16 each. 4x that, and you get $1848.64.. so Am I looking into this too much.. yes.. but I mean the internet exists, take two minutes to look it up!
I like to contact sellers like this and offer to sell them a roll of the coins that are selling for the same price of the one they've got up for sale. I wonder why I never hear back from them.
