This 1995P DDO-001 came from tonight's box. I think this is maybe number 6 I've found out of 790+ boxes.
Exciting to find. Sucks to find it in such crappy condition :(

Well…$20 richer perhaps. Still, I’d keep it like I do the others. Fun find no matter what! ;)

That seems like a fairly significant DDO. I'd imagine it's worth a premium, even in that condition.

I think this is number 5 or 6 for me. Definitely the worst of the bunch.

Bet your eyes were getting tired before you found this one. Now your eyes are wide open, huh. Great find, keep up the good search, there has to be more...

Yep, too bad about the condition, but a good example of what to look for. Thanks for the post.

I purchased one from a flea market over 20 years ago for $15 that slabbed at MS67 RD. I still have it.

What kind of premium do these sell for? Should I be keeping an eye out for it?

Depends on the grade. This one isn't great. I don't think I'd get more than $5 for it. IDK.
It is a pretty common doubled die and it considered the last "major" doubled die before the advent of single squeeze hubbing.

As Furry notes, it's a significant DDO. A fun find, but there are 2 other DDOs for the year (one a D and the other P) that are more valuable than this one. But this is the one listed in Red Book oddly enough (because it's obvious?). The 1995 D DDO is the most valuable find for the date. All three are worth looking for though.

Probably won’t ever search cents again so that’s all for me
