I think the obverse field marks and that on the chin may limit it to 65 FSB for the '43 D. Although I love the reverse look.

Now for 1916....I suck when it comes to toned coins. It is like the color throws me off every time despite the series. I'll throw a dart and it landed on.....MS 66!

    Beautiful coins.
I'm thinking 66 fsb on the top and MS64 on the bottom.

    Reveal:

    1943-D : MS67FB
    1916 : MS63FB

The 43-D is a real glowing gem in hand re-holdered from an old 67FB PCGS holder- it actually made all the other 67’s I saw look bad which is the only reason I bought it since I don’t care for white coins usually.

The 1916 just has a classic WW1 look that spoke to me, and I wanted it to go with this piece I acquired with Columbia and the fasces down the sides.

    Thanks for playing all!

67 was my first impression. When I enlarged the pic it made the marks on the obverse stand out, and I was second guessing it.
    That's a great coin!
