    Hi,
What do these coins generally sell for? I think I just won 2 Richard The Lionhearted versions.

Is this a specialized area as I think it is.

Never heard of it. My cursory Google search produced some coins in NGC slabs with that pedigree, but I didn't find much background information.

Sounds interesting. Heck, all ancient and medieval hoards are interesting, right?

Could the Lionhearted coins be faked on a Heritage Auction?

Well, I am going to do the unthinkable, cancel my winning bid on two Deniers. I have looked and looked and can’t find any documentation on these coins from Montlebeau Hoard. Maybe it is a made up hoard. I see coins on EBay and all over the place from this hoard. I just don’t want to get stuck, and if they ban me fine.

Most of the coins were fairly generic in average grades. There were a few exceptional coins, but not many. 5E7F28DE-F416-4FE5-8D3A-4FEA8AB019E1.jpeg
