What’s up with this box of quarters?

Just finished a 500 dollar box of mixed quarters. Looking for Ws and silver. In the whole box there were only 3 Lowell quarters. There were no 2020s and no 2021s. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

I go through a lot of quarters without finding anything sometimes!! When that happens I just keep trying! Better luck next time!!!

 

Relax, take a break, rest your eyes, maybe you'll see/find something different and more to your liking next time...!

 

Remember you are playing a numbers game. Expectations are best if left on a lower shelf.

 

I have searched lots of boxes of quarters and never have I had one like the one I am referring to. I thought it was VERY unusual that there were only 3 2019 quarters and no 2020 and no 2021 in the whole box. I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience?

 

For quarters dimes and half dollars i notice its either a hit everything or miss with absolutely nothing.

 

The box could have been buried in a vault somewhere for two years before finally seeing daylight.

 

Sounds better than normal for my area.

 

Most likely an older box.
