REAL Flying Eagle!!

I wanted to use this for my Avatar but it will not let me upload sadly..
Thought you guys might like it.. Made it today..

I wish that I could do that.

 

I used a picture off Ebay.. Photoshop to make 6 Images in different states of flight then moved into ULEAD GIF Animator.
Total time maybe 10 Min.
I have been playing with these programs for several years but they are pretty easy to learn..
I wish I could use it for my Avatar. I saw someone else with an animated one.. Don't remember what user..

 

You should be able to - just upload it to something like photobucket. Then point the avatar to the website and image. I am just not sure what would go in the link. Maybe if I get a chance I will play with it tonight. That would make a cool avatar.

 

I've also seen others with animated avatars. Perhaps it matters which of the 2 upload options you used? Have you linked to your image hosted to another site and use the gif URL rather than uploading the file from your computer to CT.

 

Well That didn't work.. Image hosted on Flicker failed
I need a better host.

 

I like them, especially that flying eagle.

Well resized it and played with it but for avatar no go. Still playing I added some to my sig lets see what happens.

 

This forum won't let me upload an animated gif for an avatar. I think I could get it in my signature, but that is it. Well - it did let me upload it as my profile picture. Not sure where those might appear.

 

It shows up on your members page but thats it.

I could do cool ones that spin the coin so you could see both sides..

 

Us old guys have enough trouble reading the posts without the distraction of animated avatars... but the flying eagle isn't too bad. Nice job!
