Hello guys ! What grade do you think this 1761 Nurnberg taler is? Will it get graded, because it has a tiny scratch on obv. above the branch? I had to ask you because i need to know if i made a good deal or i got fooled by my lack of grading skills for a second time. The one slabed is from Heritage ,a MS 62.
    Thank you !

I don't think it's AU50, too low in my opinion. My pics might not be that great!
AU53 , also from Heritage, below.

I’m guessing too, luckily I don’t have to be a good grader only an average one!

Something in AU50-53 for the bottom photo...but I've found that foreign coins in general tend to grade a bit lower/more conservative.

My first impression was AU55, grading it like a bust half.

Of course, basing grade on the photos is tough. From the last picture, you posted I would say it's an easy AU58. Possibly higher.

    AU-58. Will you get it graded/slabbed ?

Not likely ! I have one slabbed Taler , a 1621 Erfurt piece and I’m always thinking about getting it out! Here’s an AU 58 , again Heritage , which imho lacks a lot of details in comparison to mine.
