    Yes, I agree. 16 years is not that long in the span of a life, though.

    it appears to be weakly struck, which would occur in a coin missing the plating on both sides...

    That's what he does. I don't have him on ignore but just try to ignore the drama he creates.

    Not likely, it would only reduce the thickness of the planchet by .0006 inches. Normal variation in the thickness just from the rolling of the strip is MUCH greater than that. Weight tolerance for a zinc cent would allow the thickness to vary by as much as +/- .004 inches.
