A coin I bought 50+ years ago. I paid $42 according to the 2x2. Sorry it is still in the 2x2, I should have moved it years ago. Anyway it is hard to photograph such a small coin. I haven't seen many posted lately, so here is one. Jim
my pretty lil h10 (and this does it damn it, i'm buying a new camera!!) stupid cheap phone can't take a decent pic anymore for some reason
Seated Half Dimes... not the most popular of coins. I've only got one: NGC MS-64PL, from Dr. Eugene Bruder. This is one of the toughest coins in my collection to photograph properly.
I only have one, which is part of a "19th Century" set in an old wooden case handed down. But I wasn't able to remove it from the capsule. Sorry. A bit worn and cleaned but I like it for its small size. (Scratches on reverse are on the capsule... I think and hope...)
They struck a half disme and a disme in 1792. That's the only year they were produced. They are incredibly rare, and incredibly expensive. They were basically pattern coins before regular coinage commenced. The only person I know who owns one is @johnmilton
