New 1928 Funnyback pickup

I got this at my coin club meeting the other night for $4. It is low grade, but I think it is pretty good deal for 4 bucks!

What dya think?



They also had a 1923 Horse Blanket, but it was $45 but not a very high grade....I thought it overpriced....that will be my next purchase, or I may trade this 1928 Funnyback for a 1934 Funnyback since I have a 28 and don't have a 34.

Nice for 4 bucks. Paper money has a certain beauty and mystique to it that i think a coin will never hold for me. I have far more coins than i do paper notes but it is much harder for me to pass up a nice paper note than to pass up a coin.

I agree on the cost issue on the horseblanket! You can find them on ebay in vf to xf condition for under $40 if you watch and wait. Nice grab for $4! Congrats...
