ABNCo Archive Series

    I find these ABNCo Archive Series (1986 thru 1992 not only visually stunning but also informational .With each sheet of vignettes comes an additional sheet with the Engraver/Companies he worked for and a list of the vignette usage on what type of document,banknote security cert./stock cert. etc.
    Just a few examples .

    You can shoot close ups of these vignettes & also of their Souvenir Card.
    This can come in handy for presentations or just engraving information.

    Ken is also a good source for Souvenir Cards both BEP and ABNCo .
    Mellone's ...Photo Encycloprbia of Souvenir Cards by Howard C. Tiffner is an execelent book with reference Numbers & pictures of BEP/ABNco/United Nation Cards.

    That's a terrific post. Thanks for sharing some of your vignettes. Stacks auctioned a bunch of stuff from the ABNCo in the Capital City Sale in 2007. Vignettes as well as dies and engraving plates were sold.

    Beautiful! One of my favorite panels. My other transfer die includes the widest image shown here -- the one with the train in the distance. Yeah, I know...I need to scan it. My poor flatbed is going to explode.
