    Hey there @chlorinated
I too have had a great time sorting through bulk world coin lots. So much to learn and you never know what you’ll find. I actually have a pretty decent stash of bulk world stuff that id be happy to share. PM me your address and I’ll drop a box in the mail to you. A few free pounds from me will bring your net cost down from other sellers.

Bingo. That's why you do it. Going through them will be great fun, and it's an excellent way to get a basic introduction to modern world coins without spending too much money.

Yes, there will be some duplicates, and probably a heavy concentration of coins from Mexico and a few other countries. So you'll probably only want to buy a bulk lot once, but it's definitely worth it.

Sounds like you found some good stuff!

I'm in it to collect and learn, not the money. I like it when what I do have goes up, but plenty has gone down as well lol. It's the history I'm after!

I have a bulk bag of foreign coins. Not sure how to weigh it, but I could take pictures and negotiate a price. Hit me up! xoduspbc@gmail.com

@Xodus - easy way to weigh it. Stand on a scale without the bulk bag of coins. Record how much you weigh; we'll call that variable A. Then, with the bulk bag of coins in your hand, stand on the same scale; record what the scale reports - we'll call that variable B. Subtract A from B - and then should give you a good approximation of how much your bulk bag of foreign coins weighs. This all assumes, of course, that you have a bathroom scale, or any scale, available.

A gentleman I swapped coins with on Numista recommended Ebwcoin.com and germancoins.com to me. He said they charge $45 for five pounds.

    Hi All,

Created a new thread about this, but wanted to post here too.

I wanted to generate a post about @Mark Metzger

Mark posted one day offering to send me a package with some of his leftover bulk from his past searches.

Well the package came in the mail today and I was blown away by what I saw! Over 3lbs, close to 4lbs of all kinds of world coinage. A Queen Vic penny, some older pennies from Austraila, small silver from Portugal, some super cool tokens. The variety and date range is amazing and exactly what I was looking for. I don't even know where to start!

Some pics below of some cool stuff I've found so far. More will be posted as the search continues.

Thank you again Mark for you amazing kindness and generosity!

Have all the coins sorted by country and have started putting them in 2x2s. I've culled out the duplicates.

Still have quite a few to go, but here's what I've done so far. All the the Bank if Canada coin came from this lot.

Also found this cool Netherlands 25 cents with an obverse die clash along the outer ring.
