My son found this coin. I don't know much any info would be great...i"ll try to get pic up sum time .. The one side says... Constantine chapter No.4, R. A. M. Macon,Georgia... Chartered September 14,1838... ONE PENNY.... The other side says... H T W S S T K S ...IN THE CENTER C. V. M THANKS 4 ANY INFO
I have very little information, but I agree that the pattern is consistent with certain Masonic tokens I have seen.
It is a token It is a token issued by a Royal Arch Masons Chapter (a branch of Freemasonry). They are usually given to their members, but it may be issued to commemorate a specific event. Can't tell from the photos.
