Today in 1777 the U.S flag was in air for the first time

    Today marks the 244th anniversary of when our flag was first used.Post a picture preferably U.S coins or anything else that has to do with our great symbol.

    Wish it still received the same respect now that it probably did back then!! I get both angry and sad when I see someone disrespect the flag!!! Our country has problems and there are things to complain about, and I also respect other's right to expression, even if I don't agree with them! But, disrespecting the flag is the wrong way to go about it IMHO!!! OK let me have it!!!!!:):):)
