I am looking for any help I can get regarding my 1898 ms-64 doulbe eagle. It was graded by NNC and not being a pcgs grade makes it difficult to find anyone who can put a solid value range on it. I know that the pcgs price guide has a value of $12500 and I know that is a fantacy price. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I appoligize for no photo.

NNC is a third/fourth tier grading service, and is neither an authority in authentication or grading. I would estimate that your piece would probably grade anywhere between AU-50 to MS-62 on a first tier grading company, and thus between $1500 and $2000. If you post images, we'll be able to give you a pretty accurate estimation of the grade, but without pictures it's pretty hit and miss due to the unreliability of NNC.

Thanks Jerome for your input. It probably would be to my benefit to get this coin graded by pcgs. They appear to be the elite grading company.
