    From defunct LCS who listed it as Vietnam
    A bit out of my wheelhouse
    Any info appreciated

    I believe the symbol on the right is representative of Kwang-Tung province.
    Maybe I'm wrong. I don't have my copy of Krause with me. That book makes it so easy to decipher.

    Probably need the other side of the coin to pinpoint the exact time period...

    Looks like Emperor Gao Zong (1736-95), The Board of Works. Maybe Hartill 22.259

    It is probably Hartill 22.258, 22.259 or 22.260. It looks like 22.259 to me. The reverse is the same on all, the differences are on the obverse. These were later issues starting around 1775 with poor workmanship.
