What a genius he must have been :banghead:

Why take so much all at once? Obviously not too bright of a criminal.

Indeed, not bright at all...not so much for taking to much, but for ignoring or not suspecting any surveillance cameras. You almost can't do anything, anywhere these days...good or bad...without being on some sort of video at/from somewhere.

Sure, because taking a less amount is not criminal. Everybody knows that.

The worst part is that this is apparently someone who was trusted to help. Despicable.

in for a penny, in for a pound. if you're gonna do it and possibly get busted, you better do it right. I'd say just don't do it at all, but if you are gonna do it, it better be enough to make the prison time worth it in the one shot.

odd how it says he helped himself to tens of thousands, and at the end says seizing hundreds of thousands of dollars in cash in his possession when he was arrested.

Must be inflation at work there too!

Thats how thieves work. They have no self control. I deal with it frequently. Fuel, equipment, materials...... even time. Once they get the taste in theyre mouths its a wrap. They always eventually get caught because they went overboard.

Makes me wonder how many others he's done this to, as well...

In California, this is indeed the case. You can steal up to $950 per incident and it's just a misdemeanor (not a felony).

That is the point. That is the law in a number of States.

I'd say there is easily $200,000+ in these packs of $10K each.
