My stupid mistake on an auction

    I listed partial set of wheat/memorial cents and was not thinking when I said that the 1965-D, 1966-D, 1967-D was included in the set. I had planned on going to the coin shop to pick some up before shipping. At least I could revise the auction.

    Of course I realized my error before I asked the shop owner:goof:

    So you simply placed a D on a few coins. No big thing. China probably does that all the time. So how much are you asking for those really, really rare coins?

    That's fine if the bidders see it, but unfortunately many bidders only half-read descriptions.
    If it had been me I would have cancelled the auction, made the appropriate correction, then relisted.
    I think you can do that without an additional charge if you do it within a shorrt period of time.
