I normally get lots of Canadian dimes but never these

    Good evening all
    I normally get frustrated when I end up finding at least one Canadian dime in each of my rolls when hunting through them but I was actually happy when this was in one of my rolls
    From the edge I thought it was just a normal nickel but was surprised to see a balboa. From what I’ve read these are made at the same place and on the same planchet or have I been misinformed?

    They are identical in both composition and value to US dimes. They have been minted at US mints in the past, but newer ones such as yours are not.

    Thanks for the info, I’m guessing I’ve ended up with someone’s vacation change in a roll of dimes if that’s the case lol. Was nice to find something different to the usual Canadian dimes for once, I quite like the design.
