Just a place to post any interesting finds in your change, bank rolls...newest state quarter finds, etc. Mine: Just looked through some bank rolls... 1887 Indian Head Cent (not great condition, but a good find) 1946 Wheat 1941 Jefferson
We just did this. That's okay though. Here we go again..... Today was a rather boring day as far as finds, but I did pick up this little beauty at the bank.. oops, hit wrong button. It is an undated Standing Liberty Quarter. The bank teller caught it as it went through the counter. She picked up the phone and made herself a quick dollar.
i remember starting a similar forum well, today I found a 1985 p nickel with a strangely doubled Five Cents on the back (the second one of these I got)
I got a 1953-S in change Jack in the Box this morning. The cool thing about it is I believe it's a planchet error. I'll post a pic in Error World within the next 30 minutes just to confirm that it's mechanical and not human.
Biccentenial Quarter in the change today from a coin shop (I know, nothing big, but hadn't seen one for a while!)
1957 Wheat Cent picked out of the give a penny - take a penny tray this morning. Flipped it, and gave to a young woman at the gas pump.
hey!!! we have something in common today I found a bicentennial half dollar at a local farm (i peeked into the change bin, saw it, and bought it for 50 cents)
