Ok, gonna leave the dealers name out of this as whatever happened, I think it was an honest mistake Well back a bit over a month ago I was shopping the auctions for a merc dime for my slabbed registry set. After losing out on more then a few auctions to bidiots going well over list price.. 2 dimes caught my eye as they were the grade i wanted as well as being FB. the interesting part was they were the same code one #032 the other #034. I "won" the 032 coin and was quite happy but after waiting almost a month it was a no-show.. This coin was also "shipped" without tracking... I contacted the dealer and he responded that he would send a replacement.. I recieved that replacement today... coin #034...(this one was shipped with tracking) maybe i'm mistaken and it was a BIN listing for the 034 but I would swear it was an auction and sold for considerably more then the one I won.. What I think may have happened is he shipped 032 to whoever won 034 and that person decided to keep 032 so i was sent 034... probably a lot more involved then "that person decided to keep it" but I'll probably never know so it's a good thing I'm happy with the replacement lol....
Around the same time frame I purchased a 1944 D in MS67 FB. The label/tracking number was created but it never shipped. Right when I was finally about to message and ask the seller about it, he sent me a message asking me to return it!! I told him and he provided me a tracking number. It showed something had been delivered in Ohio. Problem is I live in Missouri. He apologized profusely and said he had made some mix up and things were a big mess. I didn't leave bad feedback or anything as my money was refunded and I kinda felt bad for the guy. It was his own fault, but sounded like he had quite a mess on his hands. I almost wonder if it was the same guy. Regardless, as charley said, no harm, no foul.
