Just as the label reads. A T-1 or Type 1 planchet is a planchet that has been punched out but didn't receive the upsetting mill treatment. That is the process which raises the edges of the coin before striking. A T2 or Type 2 planchet has a raised rim or "proto rim". The upsetting is to get a strong rim on the coin. Because without upsetting the rim doesn't strike well.
I cut my lawn on Thursday. It’s 6” lawn do I was out cutting today but the rain stopped me. I don’t cut grass sitting on a metal mower with lightening and thunder so here I am on CT.
Heading out to finish mowing, I hope, before the remnants of Ida hit which is forecast about 7 pm. Currently it’s cloudy, calm and 81*.
Thanks, I’m sure it will be just rain and wind. Just the remnants as I live about 1000 miles away. I won’t be able to mow for a week after that much rain though.
