Have you ever seen a dmpl peace before?

Neither have I, but these ebay sellers seem to find a worn and dipped to death peace dollar and call it a dmpl like this one

Apparently Not, I guess . What else can be done . It seems Ebay is out of control based on all the complaints I've heard over the past year.

 

This is just a polished piece, but PL/DMPL(?) peace dollars 100% do exist.

 

I know the pic is terrible (I didn't take it) but here's an authentic example of a PL peace dollar.

 

I love how these people feel the need to scrawl "++++" on the 2x2.

 

Whoever wrote on the mylar also wrote "Unc+rcuuted" and "AGACE Dollar"

 

You can tell it's no good because they misspelled "TRUST" on the obverse. They spelled it "TRVST".

I've never seen one...not a photo nor even a reference to one, but esp have never seen one slabbed/certified as such by the top two...not even PL, let alone DMPL...so never even thought about it, actually. But then, I've lived a sheltered life. On the eBay thing, once again, it's not eBay, folks...no use getting too upset with them, at least over stuff like this...more for their sorry customer service, communications and payment fees, et al. E-Bay is just a stage...a vehicle/taxi if you will. If bank robbers use a taxi to get to the bank or even to get away, is it the taxi's fault...? The taxi for all he knows is just picking up another fare...not complicit in the offense or for the bad customers. Like I've always said, it's BUYER beware. Don't blame the theatre for a bad play or movie...put the blame where it belongs with the actors or the director, etc.
