Damn. Bet you could of got a big bag or candy for that one. I remember getting a hand full of candy when you returned a 2cent coke bottle. Spend 20 minutes with your girlfriend spending that 2 cents

You should sell posters of that coin. I think that’s what a nice old coin should look like. Thanks. Made my day

    Nova Scotia, half cent, 1864
Took me a while to find one of these. The whole cents are easier to find.
Still need a New Brunswick half cent...

Nice, yet very uncertain/unknown item. No doubts about it's authenticity?

I've already posted a Sweden 2/3 Skilling Banco, but I recently got another one.
Posted with some others for size comparison.
    Sweden 2:3 Skilling Banco 1849.jpg
From L to R by row:
    1/3 Skilling Banco 1842
    2/3 Skilling Banco 1849
    1 Skilling Banco 1820
    4 Skilling Banco 1849
    (bottom) 1 Skilling 1802
I don't remember where I put my 1/6 skilling, but I have one kicking around.

1866 Peru 1/5 sol. This nice silver coin came in a bag of 100 mixed world coins. Score.

Papal States, Ferrara, 1/2 Baiocco, Benedict XIV year 11, 1751
It's struck a bit off-center. But actually I like the poor quality control of copper coins from the 1600s and 1700s. It gives them character...

This one is really not in bad shape for a $2 coin, in spite of a few scratches.

Germany BRANDENBURG Johann Georg 1/21 Goldgulden (Groschen or 16 Pfennige) 1573

    Johann Georg raised the number of Pfennige in a Groschen from 12 to 16. As a result: 1 Goldgulden = 21 Groschen = 336 Pfennige. 1 Reichstaler = 68 Kreuzer = 24 Groschen = 384 Pfennige.
