Found a 2000S Maryland Quarter!! Not in too bad of shape either! It's a clad coin so a business strike!!!

I don't think it is a business strike. Clad does not make it a business strike. I've been purchasing proof sets from the time they started with the 50 states program and the quarters were clad.

Outstanding. Although they can still be found in circulation, people have to remember that US Quarter program ended 13 yrs. ago and yours is from a generation ago. My wife works with coworkers that weren't born yet when yours was minted.

Very nice find @1stSgt22 . A 'W'? What's a 'W'? I haven't found one 'W' in circulation or a roll, ever. The only ones I've got are from my generous friend @Cheech9712 . Thanks Cheech!

It's a clad proof. Not a business strike.
San Francisco didn't start making the "S" business strikes until 2012.

Still not a shabby find :)

i really enjoy collecting the state quarters. I bought a book with holes for the P and D quarters. I tried to get all of my coins from circulation, which is the cheapest way to go, but I got down to 3 or 4 states, so I bought the Mints Circulation coins. You can tell which ones I bought from the Mint. They are the shiniest of the lot.
After I finished the state quarters, The Mint started releasing quarters from each National Park. I tried and tried to get certain quarters from circulation and I also found it hard to get certain ones. So, I again, had to buy certain annual releases of the Park Quarters. I bought that book for the parks and almost filled them with circulation quarters. I found that I had to go to Mount Vernon for some of the quarters. I bought the Tuskegee Airmen quarters 3-coin set to fill my holes. When I got it, I couldn't break it open. I saw that Mount Vernon sold some Tuskegee Airmen coins, so I bought the P and the D coins.
OK, now what do I do with the books.

That's a proof. There still is some of the mirrored finish. Another way to tell is that the rims are squared off. On a circulation strike they are more rounded.

If that's all I found when CRH, I'd be ecstatic....but no, all I seem to find are coins I already have or just downright ugly specimens. Darn the luck!
