64 d dime rpm

    well ill try another dime i ran across yesterday i think the d is for sure doubled at least i hope it is tks 64 d rpm.jpg 64 rpm.jpg 64 dime rpm.jpg

    In 1964 Mint Marks were hand punched into the Die.
    They cannot be Doubled as in Doubled Die. So you can't say doubled as in Doubled Die. It can only be RPM which is Repunched Mint Mark.

    Looks like a deterioration issue to me. IMHO.

    If the mint mark looks doubled it probably is but that’s just an RPM.

    That die chip makes me think that this is a deteriorated die and not an RPM. MHO.

    Appears to me to be a die chip in the MM. I see no doubling.
