I believe it's a Rpm, and a ddR could you tell me if it is or not and about the value of it please 8 I
Can't tell if its an RPM or a DDR by those pictures.64 dimes are very common even in uncirculated condition, around $5 mabey more.
Paddy, I'm surprised at your response. Your prices are melt value. The post was inquiring about a DDR which is valued up to 60.00 in Unc. Condition. Dave
Thanks for that information Dave. I was kind of disappointed thinking it was worth only 2.00 as it is a beautiful shinny coin.looks like a new one.
Keep in mind that it is only speculated as a DDR and/or RPM. Paddy only posted what is obvious relative to melt value. Of course, it would be nice if it were indeed one or the other...or both. We'll need pictures for that.
Ok I'll try to get better photos. My phone don't take the best ones. But I would like to know if it was a DDR and a RPM or not.
Without much better close up photos, the odds are that it's common mechanical doubling - very very common on 64-D dimes. (on both the mintmark and lettering)
OK, look…I am not seeing any RPM action, and I don’t see any MD or any other doubling…this silver dime looks a MS60 or so…so…that’s what you have. If you were to sell it it would be worth $1.90 melt or maybe $2.50 to a desperate buyer. jmho…Spark
These are better pictures but just a tad out of focus. Taking photos can be fun and troublesome but keep playing with the lighting and focal distance to find the optimal arrangement. From what I see you don’t have a DDR and if an RPM, not one of the listed varieties. It almost looks like notching in one of the photos but not the other. So unless you can bring the mm into better focus I can’t tell. Minor at any rate I suppose.
