Series 461 $5 IN PCGS XF 40PPQ Issued from: 9/16/46 Withdrawn: 3/10/47 Used in: Korea and Japan in addition throughout the Pacific and European Theater A couple of tidbits, You will notice that this Series was only issued for 6 Months!! Thats really short! In addition This particular denom. Had a very low printing making it rare in this high grade! Only 5 Graded higher in PCGS inventories!!!

The Series 461 did start it all when it got Mpc rolling back in the middle 40,s The $5 is a very tuff note to get in this grade, Would have received a much Higher grade like a 53 or 55 if not for the off center printing.
