I've won a coin from them and lost out on more than I care to remember. DNW is a highly reputable auction house, comparable to CNG, but with a broader range of auctions for items like bank notes and jewelry. They have some wonderful coins in their auctions, but it gets expensive for us American bidders once everything ads up. Still, if you want the coins you have to bite the bullet.

Their website is much much better than it used to be, they've always had nice British banknotes but that website used to be horrible.

..right!..i was thinking about bidding on a coin they have coming up...and after reading fees and FAQs about it, i estimate the real cost would be around 37%...and that may be conservative...

...just watch out for Noonan though...ever since he beat Judge Smails in the club championship he's been actin' a little cocky! :troll::p:joyful::joyful::joyful:

My favourite auction house even though most stuff sells for quite abit. They wont ship any books/coin cabinets you win from them though as a few year ago I won a coin cabinet and I was then told when I got my invoice that I had to either travel to London to collect or arrange a shipping company to collecting it and then pack it as they wouldn't pack it either. Ended up paying £100 for a company to collect and pack it for me but I still ended up selling it for a profit.

I have bought from their auctions several times. Great service and no problems at all.
