Hello everyone, Yesterday I might of created a bit of a stir with my last thread.. Something about "Striking it Rich" Today I hope to redeem myself with showing my latest Mint Error acquisition CoinTalk member @physics-fan3.14 recently had many interesting Wheat Cents with Lamination errors up for bid on EBay. Of all of them this was the one I was interested in and I won it 1944 - Lamination on the Obverse Check out how the lighting effect from both sides totally changes the appearance of the lamination. Lighting from the right Lighting from the left Reverse Thanks J for your lovely coin!
I don't think I made a mistake creating the thread on the book. I believe it's an excellent reference book to use and gain knowledge on different errors and varieties.. If you ignore the striking rich mumbo jumbo. Let me ask you guys this question.. Have any of you even bothered to take a good look at the book? Don't judge a book by its cover. Peace
Well, we know you can read, now all you have to do is learn to spell (aks). Just kidding paddyman, I have and do read a lot, good point, thank you!
I'm at work receiving beer kegs.. My building has a bar/restaurant with New York's longest tap bar! Can't totally concentrate on spelling every single word correctly!
I didn’t mind the thread so don’t listen to the critics. Lol This is a really neat error coin. I like the way it changes with the lighting. Nice pickup Paddy.
Don't you know you are not supposed to text and work at the same time? It's dangerous. You might accept the wrong keg and really have many bar flies mad. LOL
I'm really glad you like it! There were some pretty cool laminations in that group. Since the ones I listed are all sold now, I'll post a few my favorites from that group:
