    I found this bill has au nusual serial number on the left. Can anyone tell me what I have?

    The serial number on the left has a perfect placed ink or magic marker spot. It’s damaged as that spot is not government ink.

    It is absolutely possible that an ink splatter caused that dot in the serial number. Still not worth more than face value. Although the serial number itself looks like something special, it is not.

    Welcome to CT Karl. You have one dollar, nothing more. The serial number is not special and the dot is damage from a pen mark or something. Spender for sure.

    When I read the title, I was hoping to see another note with an overprint on a Del Monte sticker…

    You should always keep looking. The most important thing about looking through circulated notes is having fun. When you get bored with that, you will get enjoyment buying the really nice ones next.
