The serial number on the left has a perfect placed ink or magic marker spot. It’s damaged as that spot is not government ink. Welcome to CT.
It is absolutely possible that an ink splatter caused that dot in the serial number. Still not worth more than face value. Although the serial number itself looks like something special, it is not.

You should always keep looking. The most important thing about looking through circulated notes is having fun. When you get bored with that, you will get enjoyment buying the really nice ones next.
