Just looked at eBay and noticed that he 2020 Silver Proof sets are SELLING between $165 and $200. I can't figure out why.....I know i has the reverse proof W nickel. But I don't think that could be it. The 2019 Sets have the W penny and they aren't selling that high. Any Insights?

2019 mintage is over 400k, 2020 sold about 100k less plus the extra coin

I got a couple sets early before the mint went crazy with their price hikes. I have the W's that came with them somewhere.

No idea, but I picked up an ANACS PR70 DCAM 2019 silver proof set, including the very attractive reverse proof W penny for less than $135 recently. I wouldn't mind a 2020 set, but not at the current premiums. I am digging the reverse proof penny, I've got to say. Sellers pic 2019set.jpg -

Here's an interesting one - I bought a 2007-S Silver Proof Set from a pawn shop - all 14 are PR70 DCAM slabbed by ICG, and they came in a custom wooden box with the original receipt and a meaningless mint COA. Very pretty coins, and some one paid $651 (including tax) to buy this on HSN back in the day. I paid just over $200. Buying coins on TV seems like a bad idea. I just looked and I have 4 sets. I remember getting 2(Subscription), I have no memory of getting the other 2. But I'm OK with that! LOL!

You guys are troublemakers, I just went and bought a 2020 S Silver Proof mint set ($95) (without the W reverse proof nickel) and a 2009 S Silver Proof set ($49), and, for good measure from the same seller, a 1959 US Mint Set ($31.50). It's not even Friday and I'm spending my Friday allowance.

Plus the 2019 sets were I believe $65, the 2020 sets started at that but then were raised later in the year to $105. So the $105 probably became a base line price and then more was asked because of the lower mintage.
