Back in 1902 (year of our Lord) a collection of stories was published by Rudyard Kipling called Just So Stories for Little Children. It is said they were titled such as because Kipling would read the stories to his daughter, and they had to be told 'just so' (to her liking) otherwise she would protest and complain. We're not gonna do that here. We're gonna publish photogs 'just so' other folks can see 'em. The field is open folks. I'll go first....
The 1951 Pontiac was the 25th Anniversary Model. The dealers gave this money clip to buyers as a souvenir. This one was the one my aunt got and gave to me.
Here's a ragged National Bank Note from my local area. Not the prettiest, but what else can a college student afford, especially when there's only a handful of notes known from that particular bank.
I don't know about how many are left. She told me that most people busted the coin out, spent it and threw the money clip in the trash. A dollar was a dollar back then.
Here's a silver round, may have been given away from GM for some reason, it's only a half ounce. Maybe it was given out to new Bonneville owners, idk! If anyone knows, please chime in!
And with that, a mighty cheer went up from the heroes of Shelbyville. They had banished the awful lemon tree forever, because it was haunted.
On Christmas in about 1979 my wife gave me a one owner 1951 Pontiac Chieftain, 2 door with the light on the hood. Very nice car. Previously owned by an old lady who was a good friend of the family. Sounds like the old story but it was true. Her mother gave me a new set of luggage.
