How to open slabbed coins?

Hello,

I bought a slabbed coin not long ago and have no plans on opening it, but out of curiosity, how would I open it if I wanted to?

Hahaha, without damaging the coin.

 

I use a vice, a towel, and a hacksaw. Carefully cut along 3 sides, pry open slab, pull out coin with it's protector.

It works without damaging the coins you just give it a big hit on the side and then the slab with open like a clam shell.
